Mangaka-san to Assistant-san The Animation is a very long title by any standard of the imagination. Most commonly referred to as Mangaka-san to Assistant-san, is an Anime that aired during the Spring Season of 2014. It is also one of the better comedic Anime to air during 2014 – which is something I totally agree too. Today we’ll be asking whether or not this Anime truly is the best comedy.
But here is the twist, as this is a comedy Anime, I want to show you the funny and hilarious parts. So, I will be doing what I did for Seitokai Yakuindomo because why not!

What makes this Anime one of the better comedies?
Like all things that are deemed funny, there have to be scenes that make you laugh. This anime can be compared to Seitokai Yakuindomo, in how it suggests inappropriate content. However, Mangaka-san to Assistant-san isn’t that extreme. It’s a lot tamer and leans more on the random side, which I really liked.
Like the synopsis reads, basically, it’s about Aito who writes ‘erotic’ manga. However, being that he is a guy, he wants to learn about the girl perspective so that he can better his manga and well.. you get the gist.

It is a really good Anime, despite the random erotic references. Overall the Anime is something you will enjoy, just for the comedy, not story. There isn’t really a story because generally speaking Comedy Anime doesn’t have a full drawn out story. I definitely recommend this Anime to anyone and everyone who is in need of a laugh!
