Danna ga Nani wo Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken, chances are you haven’t heard of this Anime before. Or maybe chances are, you definitely have heard about this Anime before. Danna ga Nani wo Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken, is a relatively short Anime, each episode being only around 2 – 3 minutes long.
So in my personal opinion, I think you should watch it because 2 – 3 minutes long, and 13 episodes, works out to just under an hour. Today we explore, Danna ga Nani wo Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken and whether or not it’s worth watching!
Story 8/10:
A married couple and their everyday antics. The husband is a hardcore otaku, the wife is not. It doesn’t really sound like much to work with, but for an anime that runs roughly 50 minutes in total, it worked perfectly. The parts when the two show true affection towards each other were very cute and heartwarming, especially the last episode. What I thought was really cool, was that they were able to fit a story into 2-3 minute episodes – which is amazing.
That’s why it got a second season after all. winky face, yo.
Art 6/10:
This anime is VERY simplistic and only adds to the uniqueness of the Anime itself. However, since it’s a very simplistic art style, nothing really is made to pop out at you. Which is why I think it’s deserving of a 6. Don’t let the low number fool you though, despite the simplicity of the art, it really works with the Anime in a good way.
Sound 8/10:
The anime doesn’t have an opening, the ending is kinda cute, fitting for the odd but loving couple. What I thought was really cool, is that all the outros are sung by the husband and wife of the Anime. Only adding to the already unique nature of the Anime. Definitely is soothing to the ear, it’s very relaxing, which I personally like.
Characters 8/10:
Hajime and Kaoru are very cute together, especially since they are polar-opposites of each other. One is a workaholic pretty much, while the other is a hardcore otaku. What I was really neat was that even though they are polar opposites, they work together and bring out each other’s good sides. Which makes it really appealing to watch. Since this Anime leans more on the comedic side, a lot of the side characters are there for comedic purposes which in my opinion, works to complement the two main characters.
Do I think this Anime is worth watching? Heck yeah, I sure think so. It’s a very refreshing Anime to watch, it’s definitely nice.
Give it a watch, because I mean, if you have two hours to spare, you can definitely get through both seasons then. Which is the beauty about this Anime, it’s short and in my opinion, really good.
