Tsurezure Children | Episode 1

First episode: Confessions.
Here we are back at it again with a new Anime and new episodes for me to talk about. Today’s anime of choice, Tsurezure Children.

Young love—it takes many unique and fascinating forms that flourish as children begin to mature into adults. From being unable to confess to not knowing what real love actually feels like, various obstacles can arise when learning about romantic attraction for the first time. But underneath all that, young love is something truly beautiful to behold, leading to brand new experiences for those young and in love.
Tsurezure Children depicts various scenarios of young love coming to fruition, along with the struggles and joys that it entails.

In short, this anime is titled “Confessions” because it does exactly that, we’re presented with a variety of cast members, all of them in high school, all of them having differing personalities, confessing their affection to each other in a variety of ways. The first episode is a rather short episode too, (it only being 12 minutes long) I can see myself finishing this anime within the day if I really wanted to, but for my sanity, I won’t be doing that. But hey, if you’re looking for something quick and easy, then this anime is just what you’ve been looking for!
What is interesting to me, however, is that when one character confesses their feelings to another, it’s usually someone of the opposite personality or has the similar personality to theirs which makes for a very interesting situation.
I think the only downside to this anime that I can see right now is that it’s very short in terms of length, so there isn’t really much you as a viewer can go off of. There isn’t really a “connection” or a “fondness” to be made with anyone of the characters because this anime is very episodic, and when you’re presented with with a variety of characters, as shown in episode 1 (You’re shown like 6 characters in total) all of which have a part within a 12 minute span, you’re constantly jumping from the next scene to the next, to the next and to the next. It makes it feel very cluttered.
Anyway, I am still looking forward to watching and finishing this anime, before I pass judgement!
