Holy smokes a new anime, with an extremely long title! Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha: Shijou Saikyou no Maou no Shiso, Tensei shite Shison-tachi no Gakkou e. For my sake, I’ll be shortening the title to Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha.

After 2000 years has passed, the ruthless demon lord has just been reincarnated! But his aptitude at an academy for nurturing candidates for demon lords is, “inept”!?
Having the capability to destroy humans, elementals, and gods, after a long period of countless wars and strife, Arnos the demon lord became sick and tired of all that and longed for a peaceful world, so he decided to reincarnate to the future.
However, what awaited him after his reincarnation is a world too used to peace that his descendants became too weak due to a huge weakening in magical powers.

Imagine going to an academy called the “Demon King Academy” where ‘decedents’ of the founder, the Demon King of Tyranny attend in the hopes of becoming the “new Demon King” only to have the founder, reincarnate into an overpowered teen who attends the school he effectively established. Possessing powers that no one have, nor can be matched. That is the premise of the story as indicated by the synopsis. I think what I love most about the anime is that the studio wastes no time and dives right into showing us an unbelievably overpowered character that possess “god-like” powers.

Time for the Demon King, Anos Voldigoad, to cause some mayhem because the world he created so long ago, a world of peace; has made his descendants weak. No better way to toughen them up by outright destroying them. My favourite part of the first episode was the end of it because after he outright destroyed two brothers who were considered “royalty” an honour bestowed upon them by the Demon King himself a long time ago, he reveals himself right as, that he is the reincarnation of the true Demon King.
