Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru | Episode Five and Six: Wuv is in the air.

I’d like to admit that both episodes were kind of spoiled for me because all as you would expect by someone who is immersed in everything anime. Their social media feeds tend to be full of anime-related content, including spoilers. I try as much as possible to avoid anything that would spoil anime that I’m currently watching, and that doesn’t really work out.
But anyway, what were my thoughts on episodes five and six of Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru. First and foremost, I am not surprised. Ultimately everyone and their mother knew that this friendship between Gojou and Marin would eventually develop into something more. But, how much would be shown? Personally, I don’t see Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru getting another season, so I’m assuming that they’ll be fast pacing Gojou and Marin’s relationship.
Part of the problem with adapting original sources is that the story is still ongoing. Furthermore, anime studios can adapt quicker than the author can at publishing. This leaves us with many popular anime being left to rot because their original source doesn’t have enough material for the studio to adapt. I can definitely see this being a thing for Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru.
But anyway, going back to the anime. I still continue to find interesting is the amount of trust Marin has in Gojou. Considering that they have only just met, the amount of trust she has in him is a sight to behold. Gojou too, his loyalty to her is something very interesting as well. Episodes four and five felt more like comedy-orientated episodes, which only felt that way because Marin’s personality is literally everywhere. I’m almost sure that she expresses every emotion imaginable throughout these two episodes. Marin, during these episodes, reminded me a lot of Kyouko.
We have also been introduced to a new character in Sajuna Inui, who wants Gojou to create cosplay outfits. It’ll be interesting to see how Marin acts. At first glance, it looks as though Marin is okay with Gojou assisting Sajuna with her cosplay aspirations. But we all know that a jealous Marin will eventually creep into frame. Since episode six was when it clicked for Marin that she had feelings for Gojou, there is no way that this will blow over well with her. So this is something I’m especially looking forward to.
Now then, let’s see how long it’ll take until Gojou clues in or realizes that he, too, has feelings for Marin.
