Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru | Episodes Seven and Eight: Beautifully animated.

Okay, let’s be real here. For some reason, I thought episode seven and eight were the best episodes of Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru so far. No, it isn’t because of the fan service, it’s actually because of how well animated and clean looked while watching both episodes.

Without a doubt, I think that Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru has been one of the better anime to look with regards to general character design. It’s simple but there’s something about the art design that’s extremely appealing and is something I personally enjoy. For example, for some reason just the way Gojou looked in both episodes and especially in episode eight had me going “wow”. The same can be said about Marin, my favourite scene of the anime so far was them standing side by side, alone at the beach.

If you want to talk about a fairytale scene then that scene is the one to take cake. There was something about the beach scene that felt so peaceful.

As been the case for the majority of the anime, Marin has been an absolute star. She’s the embodiment of an online personality, Marin is that fangirl that we all are on the inside. But instead of keeping our obsessions on the inside and muted, Marin is what happens when you full express your inner fangirl to the fullest and without a care in the world. I love that about her character.

That being said, I’ve also enjoyed watching Gojou. During episodes seven and eight, you could tell just how dedicated he is to making the best cosplay outfits as possible. Gojou is the embodiment of someone who is hardcore dedicated to his craft and to constant learning. Not only that, but Gojou has always been willing to help others out unconditionally and that’s something I admire about him. In many ways he reminds me a lot of Izumi from Horimiya. Like until you actually know him then you don’t know just how great of a person he is.

Slowly but surely, everyone is starting to realize just how genuine of a person Gojou is. Marin has already figured that out because she’s already falling head over heels for him, while for Gojou it’s definitely a little harder to tell. But I would assume that he’s starting to develop feelings for Marin too.

I’m also excited to see what all the new characters bring to the anime. It’s no secret now, everyone who cosplays will eventually figure out that Gojou is behind the outfits that Marin, Sajuna and others will be wearing. So it’ll be interesting to see how Gojou deals with this and if Marin will show any form of jealousy seeing her ‘man’ make outfits for other girls. Marin has already established herself to be an extremely outgoing and vocal individual, even if she’s timid about her own true feelings for Gojou. Personally, I would love to see a little bit more of a jealous Marin because I think that would make for something very interesting and entertaining.

But at the same time, I don’t picture that happening unless Gojou actually tells her that he was confessed to by another person. Which I don’t think we’ll see happening unless it’s a person already part of their friend group, then maybe. I’m very much looking forward to what the remaining four episodes have in store.
