Tensai Ouji no Akaji Kokka Saisei Jutsu | Episode Eight: The three brothers.

General thoughts
Tensai Ouji no Akaji Kokka Saisei Jutsu is one of those anime that has gotten better as time progressed. The first half of the anime was okay, but I think every episode since then, especially the previous few has definitely proven to be pretty entertaining. For example, the little rivalry between Lowa and Ninym is rather cute. Yeah, they both seem to like the same person, but this rivalry (if you can really call it that), feels something two sisters would have and I love it.
Episode eight allowed for someone else to be the star, we got to see Wein’s little sister take the reigns for once. We have seen her multiple times throughout the anime but she’s never had any real impact on the story, until today. That being said, however, the episode itself was kind of meh in large part because the episode was about Lowa and the succession crisis that was taking place in her home country. Which to me is a nonstarter because I’m not interested in that, I’m more interested in the Holy Elite or whatever the title is. Anyway.

Weird siblings
Right, onto the more pressing issues of the episode. You know that saying ‘Brother from another mother’? That’s the best way I can describe Lowa’s brothers. Which is always something I find mildly entertaining when it comes to anime. Siblings almost never look like they’re related, but some how they are. I find it funny that this is almost always the case in anime, especially so in episode nine where not only do the three brothers look different from one another but each one of them have their own personality types.
However, the biggest weirdo of the bunch was that Demetrio guy. Who got extremely aggressive and salty with Falanya after she rejected his suggesting of marrying him. Rightfully so as well, I mean, this dude was all about to do extremely weird stuff to her if Falanya agreed to marry him. It’s nice to see that Falanya is smarter and more intelligent than people think. I’m also confused as to why Lowa or Ninym didn’t react to Demetrio’s revolting behaviour towards Falanya. Like they were both in the room with her, but they didn’t do anything.

Luckily for us, Wein is here to save the day and to protect his sister from this Demetrio creep. It’ll be interesting to see what comes out of this because episode eight ended on a cliffhanger. I mean, you cannot really call it a cliffhanger because I don’t think it’ll result in anything eventful. What I suspect is Wein will own this guy in a matter of minutes. I want it to be one of those instances where Wein goes full on “How dare you threaten/insult my sister”. It would be great if Wein showed Demetrio who really is the alpha male, I think that would make for some pretty good television.
