Tensai Ouji no Akaji Kokka Saisei Jutsu | Episode Ten: Wein’s other Weakness.

Who would have thought that Wein’s other weakness would be his massive ego?! Rejection at the highest level, especially when you have everyone falling head over heels for you. Truly unthinkable! Compared to episode nine, episode ten of Tensai Ouji no Akaji Kokka Saisei Jutsu was a lot better.

Episode ten had a lot of things. Like for example, watching Wein get rejected was something I thought was pretty entertaining. Furthermore, episode ten was the episode where we saw a change in heart in Wein as well. He is no longer wanting to sell his kingdom for as much as possible, he’s now more determined than ever to take advantage of Natra’s sudden rise to prominence. If I were in Wein’s shoes, I would do the same because you go from a nobody, to one of the most influential and powerful kingdoms in all the land.
I also enjoyed the fact that during Wein’s talk with Zeno (Who we all know is Zenovia). Quick aside, I love how Zenovia is able to walk around in her Zeno persona without being caught. Which in itself is kind of weird because as intelligent Wein is, not to mention, him having a sixth sense. Wein is unable to sense that Zeno is actually Zenovia. Or maybe he’s known all this time and is just waiting for the right time to tell Zenovia that he actually knew who she was.
Anyway, getting back to my original point. I enjoyed Wein’s conversation with Zeno because while Wein has an inflated ego and thinks very highly of himself. He doesn’t take his position for granted (even if it may seem as though). He understands that although he was born into a royal household, those who came before him were at one stage commoners. Just like Wein’s dynasty, there will be one day when a commoner becomes a royal.

It’s because of this that Wein decides to help out whenever he can because Wein knows had a privileged upbringing. If his family dynasty didn’t have the opportunity to become royalty then he would’ve just been a commoner. And so, in a way he’s using his position to do good, while he’s still a noble. That little conversation was something I did like and I thought was a nice way to end off episode ten. 7/10.
