One of my favourites arcs of the anime Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai has begun. As someone who has read this part of the manga, the problem is now that I’m scared that they’ll be scamming everything in into the final four episodes of this season. Which I can definitely see happening because you cannot start an arc as important as this one without finishing it. This is one arc you cannot leave hanging and is something I certainly hope doesn’t happen.
Anyone who has followed the Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai series will know that both Kaguya and Shirogane-kun have liked each other. I mean at the start of the first season, they made it absolutely clear that they will do everything in their power to make the other the first to confess their feelings. The progression over the past three seasons has been one I’ve truly enjoyed.
Something that started out as all fun and games, in doing everything possible to make the other confess first because they (Kaguya and Shirogane) didn’t want to lose. Has turned into them wanting to break that and just confess to each other because it cannot be all fun and games forever. The realization that they’re soon about to venture off to post-secondary, they don’t want to leave without any regrets.
I don’t blame them. When I think that high school, I think of it as the place where if you wish you could have done something differently, or wish something would have turned out differently. It all should have happened in high school. I’m a strong believer in that.
I’m also excited to see more involvement from the supporting cast as well.
With regards to this arc, a lot of good can happen because I think it’s the one arc that sets the stage for what is to happen next. So it can either go very good or very bad. I like many others will be expecting a lot from the final four episodes and I really hope that it does meet my own expectations because this anime (as well as manga) has been a series I’ve come to adore. So I really hope that whatever is shown in the final four episodes does this arc justice.
